“Going for gold!” – Julia Rackowe
Julia is the driving force behind Bury in Bloom.
Despite what most people think, Bury in Bloom is not part of the council;
it is a community initiative, run by the Bury Society. Julia will tell us how harnessing the community spirit in Eastgate Ward has helped Bury St Edmunds win a Gold in this year’s Anglia in Bloom competition. She will also talk about how setting up an “It’s Your Neighbourhood” group can improve your local environment.
